Dear Ramblinrover. I liked this picture enough that I actually went and enlarged it and resaved it so that it would "embiggenable" on oppo. Hope you don't mind.

The Corvair stared back at me, its rear engine bay enlarged and overwhelming. Down below, an AMX cutaway revealed its engine warily. They were beautiful, these photo fluffers in our midst.

Can cutaway xxxday be an everyday theme? I would be onboard with that.

I thought it sounded like Larson. I have a book at home, I think it's called the Prehistory Of The Far Side. I read it cover to cover multiple times when I was younger. I'll have to dig it up and post a few from it.

That's a good Larson primer, but you really need to get the rest of the cartoons on hand. For funny titles to have on your shelf, you'd buy collections "Wildlife Preserves", "Night of the Crash Test Dummies", "The Chickens are Restless", "The Curse of Madame C", "Cows of Our Planet", etc. etc. For just getting all the strips on hand in a book format sized like Prehistory, you'd be better off buying Far Side Gallery 1 through Far Side Gallery 5.
